Mi Estancia Gran Reserva

Malbec- Cabernet Franc -

Winemaking

Carefully selected grapes are hand-harvested in the vineyard. At the winery, they undergo gentle destemming and cooling prior to vatting. Fermentation lasts approximately 12 days with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 25 °C. The wine then rests in masonry vats for 2 months and is subsequently aged in American and French oak barrels for a further 13 months. It is bottled and ages in bottle for 5 months before release.

Tasting Notes

This interesting blend of Malbec and Cabernet Franc displays an intense red color with deep hues. The nose intertwines spicy aromas with notes of jammy red fruits, highlighting its 13-month aging in oak barrels. On the palate, it offers a full body and good structure, with smooth tannins and a pleasant, persistent finish.

Malbec - Bonarda - Cabernet Franc

Winemaking

Each varietal is harvested and vinified separately in different vats at controlled temperatures of 25°C, under close oenological supervision. After one year, the wines are transferred to French and American oak barrels, where they age for 13 months. They are then blended and placed in traditional concrete vats, where the final cuvée rests for approximately 4 years before bottling.

Tasting Notes

This blend of three varietals reveals an intense red color, with appealing aromas of red fruits and spices, subtly enhanced by its time in French and American oak. On the palate, it is smooth, complex, and well-structured, with a long, attractive finish.
